We here at SixDifferentWays have always been big fans of the work of Charles and Ray Eames.  (Even if you aren’t a fan of their work, their impact on 21st century design is undeniable).  That’s why I was so happy to come across these Eames Chairs from Inmod.  Unlike most reproductions I’ve seen, these chairs are made from fiberglass like the originals.  The detail of the fiberglass’ surface texture adds so much to the beauty of these chairs and also makes them a lot more accurate to the originals. The Eames Fiberglass Chairs from Inmod come in a bunch of fun colors and in my opinion the price is definitely right. Depending on your choice of base, these chairs range in price from $299 to $349.

Inmod offers three versions of this Eames classic, the Eames Molded Fiberglass Armchair, the Eames Molded Fiberglass Rocker, and the Eames Molded Fiberglass Wire Base Chair. The only question I have is which one I should get first!

Adam Frank brings us a serious of lumens, which he defines as acid-etched, stainless steel oil lamp shadow projectors.  Much of Frank’s work has involved his exploration of light and shadows, and the lumen is no exception.  Each casts stunning shadows around the room, creating a unique and beautiful scene.

Designed by Daniele Trebbi for Italian design company Pallucco, Alone is both a light and a coat hook.  This illuminated circular light works great on its own to light a dark corner, while providing a space for your coat.  I think the real beauty of this design, though, is best seen when a few are placed in a row, lighting the hallway while forming a chic coat rack. In addition to the function and great look of these pieces, the shadows and scene they create adds a unique touch to your home.

I recently returned from a trip to Italy far from empty-handed.  Among some of my best finds were a few great bottles of wine.   While we don’t keep a large selection of wine around the house, we usually have a few of our favorites on hand. What I like best about this wine rack is that it doesn’t look awkwardly empty when you only have a few bottles.   The Acrylic Wine Holder holds eight bottles, which for many of us is more than enough most of the time. This furniture is like a flashback to my cartoon-watching days!  Fun and original, I can’t say I’ve seen anything like this before.  All of these pieces (and much more) are offered by a company called Jellio. Jellio states its mission is to combine childhood fun with interior design- to surround yourself with pieces that bring a big smile to your face because of the memories they conjure up.

Jellio offers a pretty extensive collection of fun pieces and it seems they even do custom work.  I can’t deny that pretty much everything on this site brings a smile to my face. A lot of it seems a little too kiddish for my place (except maybe the Light Table and View Mirror) but I still can’t help but love them!

I came across this idea on another blog and had to pass it along. Called Tile Tattoos, with these vinyl stickers you can give your kitchen or bathroom a whole new look without a costly remodel and without even needing adhesive.
