We’ve been talking about going green a lot on here lately, so here’s the next must have green product. Decorate this holiday season with solar holiday lights!  There seems to be several different kinds available, but all run on sunlight-  saving you money while helping out mother nature.  A simple search on the web yields tons of results, so it’s easy to find the style of lights you want with just a bit of browsing.

I know I usually blog about products as opposed to brands, but after coming across Vioski I found it impossible to choose just one product to love. This original, modern furniture has an elegant and minimalist look and is made right here in the USA. Going green is a phrase that seems to be floating around just about everywhere these days.  &made Studio offers an interesting take on sustainable products with its Lost & Found collection.  Each piece was found and rescued from the streets and turned into the great furniture you see here. &made hopes to send a message about today’s culture and the issue of disregarded furniture.  Its works are produced on commission. Earlier this week I saw the season’s first snowflakes.  While I could easily do without the cold weather, there is something about snow that is so inherently beautiful.  Tokyo based design firm Nendo capitalizes on this beauty with the appropriately names Snow Table.  This table is made of snow stars in white lacquered, wood veneer-coated MDF with a safety glass top.  More than a stylish and contemporary piece, this table enables you to enjoy the beauty of the snow from the comfort of your couch! 

This rug from Flocks immediately caught my eye, because it looks just like a big wool sweater.  If a sweater can keep us warm on even the coldest days, I can’t help but wonder what effect this gorgeous rug would have on the home. While it probably can’t make the room physically warmer, I’m pretty sure it could succeed in creating the kind of cozy atmosphere in the home that we all crave during the winter months.

If you ever played foosball as a kid, it’s hard not to love the Offside Coat Hanger.  Like in the game, the players tilt and move, but unlike the game this time it’s to hold your coat.  While this isn’t exactly what comes to mind when I think of adding a new accent to my décor, this coat hanger definitely succeeds in adding an element of fun and nostalgia to the home.
