The Slice Sofa is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Consisting of an outer shell and a soft inner cushion, the general design of the Slice Sofa is intended to imitate the protective mechanism seen in animals such as the armadillo or turtle. As in the animals’ build, the outer shell of the sofa provides comfort and the inner cushion provides comfort.

The Slice is upholstered in fabric, and can be custom made in the customer’s own materials. Cushion covers are removable for easy cleaning. Ideal for small spaces, the Slice has four modules and a lightweight frame.

Named for the slices made in the triangular cushions, the Slice Sofa is designed and manufactured by Boneli, a modern furniture company in the United Kingdom.

Brighten up your living room with this contemporary Radiant Acrylic Cocktail Table. Appropriately named after a radiant cut diamond, this Cocktail Table grabs the attention of all that come in contact with it.

Made of acrylic, the Radiant Acrylic Cocktail Table is available in all clear, or clear with color accents. The available color accents are pink, red, yellow, green, blue and black. As seen in this image below, the center inserts can be ordered with silver mirrored glass instead of acrylic.

The Radiant Acrylic Cocktail Table can also be custom ordered in a smaller size to be used as an end table. Along with a large collection of other acrylic / lucite furniture and home accessories, the Raidant Cocktail Table is designed by Alexandra von Furstenberg. Alexandra von Furstenberg, the former daughter-in-law of iconic fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, created AVF, her modern furniture company, in 2007.

A modern twist on a traditional style of end tables, designer Gareth Neal made these modern King Louis Tables out of recycled cardboard.

Using a 3D computer drawing and CNC processing, Neal created the honeycomb structure of the King Louis Tables. These tables are a part of Neal’s Traditionally Worn Collection, and were also a part of the Lab Craft Exhibition at the London Design Festival.

Sometimes things identified with grannies aren’t as bad as we think.This is exemplified with the Granny Wall Shelf, designed by Beerd Van Stokkum.

Made from durable steel, the Granny Wall Shelf is adorned with a lovely lace design. It is available in black and bright white and finished in a UV-proof powder coating. The Granny Wall Shelf is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Measuring 85 centimeters in length and 22.5 centimeters deep, the Granny Wall Shelf can support up to 55 pounds in weight. The Granny is hung using a blind method, meaning that the screws used to hang the shelf are hidden behind the supports for a clean, blind look. The Granny Wall Shelf is made in Holland.

New takes on the traditional floor lamp are the Rug Lamp and the Side Lamp. Made of baby bull skin and goat skin, these lamps are designed by Bina Baitel as part of the Under My Skin Collection.

Under My Skin is Bina Baitel’s first collection that was on display at the NextLevel Galerie, a Paris-based gallery that focuses on artists and designers with a cross-disciplinary approach. Both pieces were on display in the Galerie until the beginning of November. They were made as limited edition pieces.

The Bubble mini fireplace will cause you to bubble over with excitement. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the Bubble is a mini fireplace that is portable, functional and stylish all in one small product.

Designed by Serge Atallah for Planika Fires, the Bubble is made from a fiberglass polyester laminate that comes in a bright modern red or a clean contemporary white. It has a stainless steel burner that burns up to 3.5 hours with one liter of fuel.

The Bubble includes decorative stones to scatter around the burner. An optional aromatherapy set is also available.
