Once I saw this, I had to immediately post it for all to see. This hanging light doesn’t need many words to describe its brilliance.

I’d like to mediate in this!  Designed by Blaess, the Meditation Pod is a space for one or two people to relax in a nurturing environment.  It looks really comfortable too (and obviously cool)! This chair makes me think mid-century-modern design, and even looks a bit like the Arne Jacobson Swan Chair. See more inspiring work here.

Do you ever see something and wonder “Why didn’t I think of that”?  Well here’s one we are all going to kick ourselves for.  Designed by Jeong- Sun Park, the Knob Light combines a light bulb and a door knob. Duh.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten up in the middle of the night only to walk right into the wall, door, or insert your favorite piece of furniture here (because I’ve walked into them all).  The problem is that when it’s dark and you’re sleepy you either can’t find the light or don’t even think to turn it on.  Well thank you Jeong-Sun Park for making our lives a little simpler with your genius design even if you have embarrassed us all a little for lack of simple creativity. Dima Loginoff brings us the Curl My Light.   This plastic table lamp has a base and shade that resemble an electrical wire. It looks as if your lamp is wrapped up in its own wire, creating a look that’s truly unique.

Dima Loginoff is a Russian designer who won the Best Designer Award for an interior object at the Design Debut Competition and also won the grand prize for his brushwood rug at the same competition in 2007.
