Pouring Light

Now there’s really no use crying over spilled milk.

The Pouring Light is a unique and interesting lighting fixture that gives the illusion of a glass spilling liquid. Yeongwoo Kim, the designer of Pouring Light, creatively uses the cup as the lamp shade and the liquid as the base of the lamp.

The photo above shows the Pouring Light Vol. 1, which uses a standard drinking glass as the lampshade. On the left, the Pouring Light is turned on; the right image shows the Pouring Light when it is turned off, as it continues to exert a dim light. Energy is conserved as the lamp uses LED lights.

Shown here is the Pouring Light Vol. 2, which uses a coffee cup as the lamp shade. The Pouring Light is designed by Yeongwoo Kim, a Korean-based designer of furniture, lighting and electronics.
