Does anyone else love mirrored furniture as much as I do? I just can’t enough! I wonder what my house would look like if almost every piece was mirrored!

Anyway, for today I’ll stick to mirrored nightstands. I have them in my bedroom, and last night when I couldn’t sleep, I was just staring at the one next to my bed and admiring it’s beauty. I tried to take a picture of one but it didn’t come out good. I just love the hint of glamour that mirrored furniture adds to a room – and surprisingly they aren’t too bad to keep clean.

Globe pendant lights can be done so many ways – in so many shapes, sizes, finishes. Whether arranged together or as a single light, a globe pendant light always seems to look good.

Today we’ve got two different kinds of globes going on. The first is a giant globe that looks to be made out of paper – like a paper lantern. It is hung over a quaint seating area with an intricate ceiling medallion. The second set of globes takes place over a modern dining set, where the globes are made of a smoky amber glass and arranged in a cluster of escalating height.

Both are two totally different looks using one simple element – a globe pendant. Personally, I’m really loving the giant globe  – it’s just fun and different.

If you absolutely had to choose between these two looks – which would you rather?

It’s looking like a dreary weekend here in NJ this weekend, perfect weather to spend all day in bed watching movies. And eating delicious comfort food! What are your plans??

I love watching those HGTV shows where they do a digital mockup of what they’ll make the bathroom or kitchen look like. Do you ever watch those? The cabinets and vanities are so crisp and modern, and then when they actually do it in real life – oh, I want my house to look like those!

In my dream world, I would have someone come in with strong and durable furniture for bathrooms and style my bathroom up! Not that I don’t love my bathroom as it is now, but I would really love something more spacious and organized. And with shimmery glass tile and fancy shower heads. Towel warmers would be nice too for the cold winter months. A girl can dream, right?

It’s a dreary day here and I’m in need of something bright and fabulous, such as these awesome chairs.

According to Cool Hunting, “London-based designer Nina Tolstrup of Studiomama tapped artist and fashion designer David Saunders of David David to created boldly patterned textiles for her new series of bespoke furniture, dubbed Re-Imagined as a token of Tolstrup’s interests in re-using the often overlooked or unloved.”

Whenever I’m feeling a tad overwhelmed with work or life in general, I find that something that boosts my creativity usually helps get me back on track. Yesterday, I was having one of these days and coincidentally stumbled upon this easy earring DIY.

Even though it’s just putting your favorite beads on a hoop, it’s often the simplest things that can satisfy the soul and make you feel like yourself again. I used to make a similar, smaller version of these as wine charms and gave them as small gifts. You could do the same with these earrings, or just use them to pair with whatever outfit you’re wearing that day!
