Bath Recipes for Relaxation & Healing

Your skin is an organ with tiny pores that will absorb the environment surrounding especially when these pores are exposed to heat. When taking a bath in warm or hot water and soaking for at least 20 minutes, your skin will absorb whatever ingredients you place in the bath. It’s sort of like a giant pot of tea and they are seeping in the water for your body to take in.



Bath Recipe for Inflammation, Arthritis & Menstrual Cramps –  1 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup epsom salt

Bath Recipe for Stress – 1 cup cornstarch, 2 cups powdered milk, 5 – 10 drops lavender essential oil, 2 tbsps of dried lavender

Bath Recipe for Detox – 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide, 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup magnesium sulfate crystals or epsom salt, 1/2 cup sea salt

Bath Recipe for Eczema, Rashes, Itchy Dry Skin – 2 cups powdered milk, 1 cup oats, 1 cup cornstarch

Bath Recipe for Common Cold or to Prevent Sickness – 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide, 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil, 1/4 cup of grated fresh ginger

Try any of these remedies to help treat whatever condition you may be experiencing, soak for at least 20 to 30 minutes to gain the full effects.
