At first glance, this lamp looks like any other lamp. Cool looking, but nothing out of the ordinary. Start to examine the image below, though, and you will begin to see why this lamp is different. It comes out of the base and you can take it with you. Use it in any room, as a flashlight, outside, inside, anywhere! Now that’s something unique.
After writing the first paragraph of this post, I looked back at Julien’s site to see if there was anything else I could add. I noticed that under one of the product images, it says “With this personal work I wanted to create a simple and aesthetic lamp, hiding something moreâ€. Ha! Glad to see I interpreted it correctly. I love when I’m right. Seriously though, this lamp is pretty incredible. We have portable phones, why not portable lights? This just may be the next big thing. See more from Julien here.
