So we all know going green is in, but here’s proof of how cool it is to be green. From designer Indo Maurer comes the Early Future Lamp. This is the first lamp of its kind to use organic LEDs (OLEDs). I’m sure we’ve all heard of LEDs by now, but what exactly are OLEDS?Â
No worries, I’ve got you covered. OLEDs are a made of a printed film from which light comes from the entire surface all at once.  OLEDs are not only environmentally friendly, but they allow for a light source that is lightweight, transparent, and two dimensional. Here, Maurer takes advantage of this thin light source to create leaves of light. I suspect more great things will soon be coming from this.
