When you think of modern furniture, bookshelves aren’t the first thing to come to mind- unless maybe you’re a librarian. Turns out though, that bookshelves too can be very cool and very modern. This vertical bookshelf is made of powder-coated steel and was designed by Rick Ivey.
According to his website, Ivey strives to push the limits of his chosen materials in an effort to better understand them. This allows him to challenge conventional forms and traditional approaches to furniture.
